The people are great, and the work varies but is mostly interesting and everynow and then someone gets lobbed on a plane to oversee printing of some final product or other, this partly being the reason why I'm updating my journal (as I'm very sleep deprived having had 3 hrs of luxurious sleep in the comfort of our flat). I usually admire people's talent & works from a distance on this site and spend far too long trying to get either Vista or OSX to look any good.
I get stuck using a few music players because they are generally not perfect; at the moment I'm using WinAmp to play all of my music because it's very fast, customisable, discreet, aesthetically pleasing to listen to and does a very good job of keeping my library up to date when I import things etc. iTunes I also use because I use an iPod and it's the most user friendly way of dealing with the hardware & you can also import music as mp3 which you have to buy with WinAmp. I would use iTunes for everything if:
it weren't so damn slow,
if it didn't disable vista aero each time it runs,
if it didn't have to update my music library every time the software updates itself,
if you could skin it,
if it had some decent visualisations
& if it didn't occupy so much memory.
The only thing I don't like about WinAmp is that the Music Library window is the ugliest interface I've ever used and is unskinnable, they've rectified this slightly by introducing their new all-in-1 bento skin but I'd just like a very fast winamp version of itunes.
I was so bored in the airport I bought a Ceramic White PSP after I found there was FF Tactics released for it, most of the other games don't really appeal to me yet but i guess I'll have some exploring to do.
ok my batts about to run out so I'm going to post this and edit later ;D

how did you get the one dock to open several dock icons please?
I'm using Stardock (which has both a free and a paid version),
just right-click on your dock,
goto 'add' (or if you've clicked on an icon goto 'ThisDock > Add' ),
and then 'New Custom 'Flyout Menu''.
Stardock will then bring up a window allowing you to choose a folder for the flyout menu, icon to use etc.
There you have it, enjoy
Take it easy ;D
